Artificial turf rarely fails all at once. It develops specific problems in specific places, and most of them are repairable at a fraction of replacement cost.
The most common call. Seams open when the original adhesive or seam tape failed, or when ground movement pulled the panels apart. We lift the edges, clean back to sound material, and re-seam properly.
Turf that was not stretched adequately at installation relaxes and buckles, usually in summer heat. Restretching pulls it taut and re-anchors the perimeter.
Grills, fire pits, cigarettes and reflected window glare all melt turf fibres. These do not recover, but they patch well — we cut out the damaged section and inlay a matched piece. If you have offcuts from your original installation, keep them, because they colour-match perfectly.
Occasionally a determined dog gets under an edge. We re-anchor and, where the fibres are shredded, patch the section.
High-traffic paths mat over time. Power brooming with fresh infill stands the fibres back up and often restores turf people assumed was finished.
Infill migrates over years. Topping it up improves how the turf feels, how the blades stand, and how long they last. It is inexpensive and routinely overlooked.
If the base has failed — standing water, ruts, widespread settling — surface repairs will not hold. We will tell you that rather than take payment for a fix that reopens in a year. Replacement options here.
